i live in Texas and have finals so a trip to cali is a bit out of the question, lol. wish i could. i'm really hoping i'll be able to get to pebble beach for concours weekend this summer...
yea, Pebble Beach is kinda located in Nor Cal. I'm in So Cal. I think it's only a few hours for me to get to Mexico. But what is cool is there is the freeway called Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) so it's a nice wonderful drive so it's not too bad even though it's a 6 hour drive. Plus sometimes you see really nice verts on that road for the same reasons i just mentioned.
well right now i just got back into mira costa CC, but last semester i took some time off and went to tom brown jrs tracking/stalk school...hopefully i will be able to transfer to Cal State San Marcos next year and graduate...
as in tracking animals in the wild or people, they teach you outdoor survival, tracking, survival tools, stalking..etc loved every day of it, but yeah driving wise i learned to drive a full size car when i was about 10, my dad use teach me out in the desert, he use to do performance demo driving for BMW...he was my teacher, but yeah when iwas in high school i got a scholarship to UCSD but i missed alot of school time due to being in the hospital, so now i can transfer to CSUSM next yeqar, and then transfer to UCSD...where do you go to school at tex?
Texas A&M University, the best damn university in the land. i'm in the Dwight Look College of Engineering in the Industrial and Systems Engineering department, but i'm going to meet with an adviser next week to discuss transferring to the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering. it's the #1 Petroleum Engineering program in the country, so i'm really hoping i'm able to transfer. i don't really like my current major, there's too much emphasis on statistics and i don't want to be working in a factory. if i can't switch to PETE, i'm going to try and switch to Mechanical Engineering and join the Automotive Engineering Society. we'll see how it goes.
