I didn't know it was scheduled for a refresh?1? Hopefully they will give it some outboard shocks and some other updates.

Compared to the current gen, it isnt a whole lot different. You can see the 2 bars on the grille are a little more beefy, and extend out further laterally. I think more than anything it's muel for the new Scorpian diesel.

They have refurbished the cab for over a decade now.

Sweet truck. Hey I didn't know that the new 6.7 was referred to as the "Scorpian Diesel". I guess I'm used to referring to those Navistar engines as the Powerstroke.

I think they will still be called Powerstroke but the Scorpion is the codename for the engine like the 5.0L is codenamed coyote

This isn't a Navistar engine, so I don't see how it can be called Powerstroke unless Ford buys the rights. This diesel is 100% FoMoCo.

Oh that's interesting, I didn't know it was made by Ford.

I think ford may own the rights. If I'm not mistaken they were going to use the navistar name for the new V6 diesel they had developed in house.

Ford was going to build that diesel, however, Navistar was still connected to it in some form or another, I'm not really sure.

Navistar built the diesel that is in the LCF Ford I believe. The one Ford is building is the one that will go in the F150

The 6.7L Scorpian is the Ford diesel.

If you recall, there was a huge lawsuit a year or two back that Navistar put on Ford for talking about the release of the 4.5L Diesel before they were technically aloud to. Ford made official claims when they weren't aloud to according to contract. It was rather insignificant, but as well all know Navistar has filed lawsuits with Ford before ..

Ya I remember that .. idk. I look into it this weekend see what I can find. It seems like it started off as a 4.4 when Ford announced a half ton diesel, then it progressed to a 4.5L overnight it seemed.

If you look for anything, let me know what you find, because I'm curious now.
