Me, Dallas04GLI, and my roommate building the 240SX, just bought a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird for $220 that runs perfectly fine. Got a title, bill of sale, the transmission shifts fine, and the motor looks like it's in great condition. We are going to begin prep work to run it next year at the Motorsport Ranch: Houston race. We started stripping it today and will begin looking for sponsors fairly soon. I'll get some pics posted up fairly soon. It's craptastic, but it is a running, driving, reliable car... for $220.

Oh nice! First time i heard about this was when a guy was building up 3rd gen celica. I hope none of your entries gets crushed, lol. I'd be afraid to use the 240SX, the sunbird great choice =D

the 240 isn't competing, it was too expensive. that's just a track car project. the sunbird is the only car we're taking to LeMons.

ah ok good. Cuz yea I would also be worried of losing it. Should be a blast, rent a video camera and take some nice footage =D
