i'm in LOVE with this car! i know it's the Toyota IQ underneath, engine and all, but i love the concept of a high-end tiny, tiny car. i love the look of the car. i'm most surprised that the current Aston design cues work so well on such a small car. it could so easily have looked like a caricature, and i'm sure many people will view it as such, but i think it just looks like a well-made, classy, tiny city car. i'm especially taken with the rear view, the greenhouse, the door handles. even the taillamps seem to work so well. i'm shocked they're making it, and a bit disappointed it will only be available to current A-M owners, although i understand their marketing plan.

holy crap it's real?!?!?! lol. I want to see the performance figures when it's in the production stage. And yea it's odd that it kinda work well on the car, looks very british even though it's japanese underneath it. Wonder why they didn't use teh smart 4 2.

An upscale tiny car would be cool and this looks good... but come on. An Aston Martin with a Toyota 3-cylinder? That's just not right...

well i hope it's not just a rebodied IQ, cuz it's getting full outside and inside treatment, it better also have a better tuned engine and suspension. I mean they said it there that 30% of the owners have minis and smart 4 2s, mini owners would probably want to have same or better performance.

From the article: "Details are scarce at the moment, but the tiniest Aston Martin ever is expected to share the same three-cylinder petrol engine as the iQ"

Well I imagine it use the same engine, but at least slightly modded for more power. Cuz I know not much would fit under the hood of the iQ, but I imagine it's going to weigh A LOT more and if it has the same power man, it may just turn into a comfortable, but frustrating car.

Either way, it's a 3-cylinder Toyota motor in an Aston Martin. regardless of whether it is tuned or not, it just isn't right.

yea very true. Still don't know why they didn't use a mini as the platform, I mean that used to be British owned.

I never thought I'd say this, but thats a bad ass looking Toyota iQ. All thats left is to take the rear seats out and put the 4.2 V8 in its place. Ooooor just add a turbo to the 3-banger...

yea a sneaky turbo 3 would be great. One that could nip on the heals of a Mustang and the like.
