now that Acura has decided to look like Saturn, Hyundai is going to the Acura looik. i think the new front and rear ends of the Elantra are very nice. yes, they're derivative, but they're not ugly either. i think
they're really tasteful. i'm not crazy about the carryover side styling. there is something dumpy about it, but Hyundai's cars are beginning to show the influence of their hired-away hot euro designers. i
think Hyundai/Kia are going to have some great looking cars soon. i hope they're built well and drive well too.

Nice job on the refresh Hyundai. I have a friend who has an 07 and iits avery well made car, very Corolla like. He's already got 60,000 miles on it, very hard 60,000 miles.

Well, it would appear that the Genesis Coupe is the basis for Hyundai's brand identity.......you can see a similarity in the headlamp design on the refreshed Elantra. Not a bad thing; it's a far better look than the '08. But I do agree that the overall look is still derivative.

Looks like a Toyota Avalon from the front.
