Still curious why we never saw this car in the US. Did it compete too much with the Mustang?

The Austrailian brute either came with a 351 Cleveland or a 302 Cleveland and standard equipment included four-wheel disc brakes and limited slip axles. Some of them came with racing bucket seats and engine oil coolers. Only 400 were built. Kind of an interesting story.
