damn, looks like it's doing pretty good. The guy said with a reflash it runs flat 13s and with the 100 shot and drag radials it'll dip into the high 11's. G8 is shaping up quite well IMO. Supplying a great package as well as being able to make it fairly quick with not much to be done.

My question is, will you be able to put decent sized drag radials in the rear? That was a problem with the GTO. Some people found a way around it but I'm sure it wasn't cheap.

i don't think they ever solve that... most GTO forums don't have anybody with anything larger than 275's on the back. i've seen 1 guy that managed 285's... i can fit that one on the front of the stang, lol.

wonder why they didn't make more room in the back. On my tiny celica I can fit 245's easy in the back but I think people can get 260s in there with some fender roling.

forgot to mention, fitting the 275's on the back of the GTO is after modification. they can only take 265 stock. the reason is when they imported it, they had to add a bunch of electronics stuff and they couldn't find anywhere to put it other than on either side of the trunk so it cut into the wheel well space. so yeah, if you roll the fenders, you can fit 275's, don't know how the one guy got 285's, but it was supposedly pretty heavy modification.
