I forgot to take pics of the tires mounted on them. But I'll sure take pics of the wheels on the car once the big brake stuff comes it

It was funny picking up the rims because I got two of them in 5x114.3 bolt pattern and two in 4x114.3. Everyone over at the XXR warehouse was confused and kept asking me if that's what I wanted, lol. The reason for the two different bolt patterns is because the car is originally 4x114.3, but I'm changing out my front brakes to basically match that of a 350Z Track edition (12.76" brakes!), so I'll be running 5x114.3 in the front. I already have the hubs and adapter plate to get it rolling along. And I'll be ordering the rest of the brake components over the weekend. I'm pretty stoked about it because I didn't think I would really be able to get an OEM setup going this big and that if I wanted something this big i'd have to dish out over 1500 bucks. Anyways here are pics of the rims. I used a 1 dollar bill for scale instead of how everyone uses 100 dollar bill (I guess I'm just not baller).

They are XXR 002 16x8 w/ a zero offset. Aside from needing it for the new bolt pattern I needed these because I have to run 16" rims instead of the 15" rims I have now.

Those should look awesome on the car man. I really like em.

EDIT: How hard is it to just switch the rear to a 5-lug as well so that you don't have to mismatch bol patterns?

Thanks.

Tex, switching to a 5lug in the rear would entail me to getting my rear axle re drilled and then finding rotors that would work with it. People shouldn't notice for the most part, partly why I went with these wheels since I can get the same spec wheel in both bolt patterns.

Austin, yea totally, I have to wait for the rest of the parts to come in, I'm hoping early next week I'll have it all put together.

SVTman, I think I may have confused you about the Nissan brake stuff, lol. I don't have a Z I have a Celica, but someone on another forum made brackets and the research to get a nice BBK to be relatively cheap using all OEM parts. It's funny in order to the brake swap I need a part from a Z31 a part from a Z32 and a part from a Z33. Just funny seeing it span across 3 different models, lol.

Nice. Have you picked out tires you're going to run yet?

I got a pretty good deal on some Michelin XGT V4, they are basically like Michelin Pilots, they were what Mercedes would use on their cars. They have this kind of tread pattern

They're a bit squish, but I like the meaty look for older cars. So I went with 215/55. We'll see how well they fit Suppose to be really quite too.
