On the way to school today, I saw in the opposing lane on the interstate a Lexus IS-F, a Porsche 997 Turbo and a BMW 6-series convertible. Coming home sitting in the parking lot at a restaurant, a 1969 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. Pretty nice.
I've seen this particular orange Eliminator run around my town a few times and he is always at the cruise-in. It has one mean exhaust note with a 351 and it isn't your typical Flowmaster tone either. Packing a 4-speed too.
It certainly grabbed my eye as it was in that awesome blue that you often see it advertised in. On the road, it has a sort of presence about it in that it isn't your average car and certainly not grandpa's IS. I'd still prefer the Mercedes C63 AMG but that Lexus was something to see on the road.
yeah, it was surprisingly good. i thought it was going to be cheesy, but it was actually good. it was a double date type deal and we went to see 21, but it was sold out, so it was between drillbit taylor and never back down... the girls won, lol. i've seen all 3 now, though, so it turned out fine.
when my buddy got to borrow the isf for two weeks is was almost the best time of my life...but when i saw a white audi R8 driving next to a M6 and a supercharged e46 m3 i was in heaven
