The Lagonda has been much improved from the concept. It looks quite nice as a Lincoln as well but shouldn't it have a single wraparound lightbar for the taillights?

great question! i have a hard time deciding what is a 'proper' Lincoln taillight.... it's true, that the full horizontal look has been used on many Lincoln models, whether they were actually taillights or just red reflectors. but just as many classic Lincolns had small vertical taillights in the fender ends, many times with the red tail/brake lights above the clear/white reverse lamps. even today, the crossover MKT uses a full light bar, but the MKZ uses wide horizontals with a bodycolor break inbetween. then the MKS just uses sort of generic end units. i tried to do a new treatment of all of those ideas, they're wide, they're red above clear, and they wrap around the fender ends...i think it'll all 'shake out' in the next couple of years, as Lincoln rationalizes it's designs even more. the MKX is coming into line with the flying grille. the Navigator would be next but i think they'll just drop that vehicle altogether.

back to the chop, i was surprised how much more i liked it as a 2 door, and as a lincoln mark coupe! i swear these things take on a life of their own. just like my 'real' art, sometimes i feel like i'm only erasing stuff, only revealing what's already underneath....

wow, thanks for sharing the chops, they look great. I remember seeing only one or two Skyhawks and liked them very much, it's be great at one point to see them come back. Just a thought, should the side vents be aligned with the side crease? Either way I'd love to have a maserati inspired buick, lol.
