You all remember me right? Whether good or bad memories, I'd like to start anew.

Barry, I'd like to appologize for all those things I posted regarding religion in the other forum. I won't do it again.

So yeah, I'm back.

Hey, thanks for the welcome's and whatnot. I'm doign great, School's going great. Learning more about sheet metal and rivets than I would ever desire to learn...and we actually get to do this stuff on real aircraft that are in the restoration process which is totally bad ass.

The Integra (Klaudia) is better than ever. I've been pouring money into her to get her up to speed, and all of that has payed off...except not. $3000 is a good chunk of change for a broke college kid.

I'll also be building my engine, suspension, and transmission, so I'll post up my build plans and whatever progress I might make. Plan is 250hp naturally aspirated. We'll see about that...

Thanks for the warm welcome.

250hp? That's going to be pretty high revving. I'd expect it to be around what? 9.5Kish? Whatever you get going we'll be a blast, $3K on a car will go a long ways... well if it's a honda =P you guys get all the cheapest parts >.< well relatively. What year is your integra? And what motor? B18C? Or just the LS motor?

Yeah 250hp os a lot for a NA Honda engine. I plan on revving it to 9K and VTEC engaged at 5K all through a GSR tranny.

I'm rocking a 94 LS with the B1. I wish I could get my hands on a C1 just so I could rev to 8200.

Cheap parts is a plus, but like you said, it's all relative. I can get my hands on a GM 14bolt full floating axle for $200...used of course, but shut up...

lol. Yea GM parts. I tinker with my toyota and on top of that a toyota that isn't very popular so aftermarket parts are rare and sometime people just make their own, so we evny the civic people will all their cheap parts.

Vtec in a LS? I thought that wasn't standard. How expensive are the B20s now a days? I can't wait to hear the sound of your motor when you're finished, they usually sound really awesome revving that high.

The LS has no VTEC standard, just the GSR and Type-R. A B20 in good shape can run anywhere from $300-$800 for just the block depending on the mileage on the block. I've considered building a B20, but I want my engine stamp to say B18B1 just so people can be like HOLY SHIT! I know it's kinda ricey, but I'll be really proud of my 250hp B18B1...especially when I spank my friend's 12.5 1/4 Fox Body Mustang...on street tires...

9K RPM will be REALLY REALLY loud because of the ITBs and 2.5" straight piping from collector back.

yea, loud, but I'm hoping it'll sound nice. Especially with the ITBs, oh man I love those.
