well i told you guys earlier about my g/f looking for a new car and the corolla was the first choice but i think i talked her into getting a 3. still a few months away from getting a car. i think a slightly used 6 could be in the running too. she can't drive a manual so i'll try to get her to find a car with the 5 speed auto.

Awesome! The one that I drove was an automatic but it was still loads of fun to drive. It has a pretty good manumatic feature. You'll enjoy it, just make sure to find a nice curvy road.

Nice choice. Its a great car, a few of my cousins have them and they feel pretty good about them.

Just don't get the base engine, my dad and I beat the crap out of a Mazda 3 rental when we went to Colorado because it had no power. I had that thing hammered all the way up Pikes Peake in the dirt going only 15 mph. Probably the altitude change though.

i think they are great little cars and the mazdaspeed models are quick little cars..

i think most likely she will get the middle range model. power isn't that big of a deal to her. maybe there will be some 08s left on the lots and we can get a good deal.

she has the gunmetal grey color sedan. were you able to talk the g/f into the 5-door? the 5-door makes the sedan pretty much worthless...

i think she just wants the 4 door. i like the grey and the blue myself, that would be my top picks. maybe i'll be looking for a new car myself then too. thought about keeping my mustang and finding a base model ranger since they are dirt cheap could would make a good daily driver.

i'd get a blue 5-door with the manual. that's one good looking car.
