Whether the man had personal issues or not, he will certainly always be remembered for his performance on the stage. I saw Michael Jackson perform a few years ago, and it was pretty cool.
It's unfortunate, but I won't be surprised if is death was related to drugs. He's been known to do cocaine in his past, and I wouldn't put it past him. It's very unfortunate to see a legend pass on.
It's believed he overdosed on Demerol. Apparently he takes a shot of this daily, and on thursday, took too much.
If that's the case, it was no accident, the way I see it. My mom is diabetic .. she doesn't just accidentally shoot up too much insulin. That's doesn't happen .. it never will happen. The measurements are very precise every time.
Demerol is an opiate. and as such, the body builds up a tolerance for it. that means the first time you take it, a very small amount will kill the pain, and/or relax you, or whatever he was taking it for. eventually you need to increase the dosage incrementally. sometimes equal doses won't affect you the same way. you might take say 50 ccs one day and it works, but the next day 50 ccs won't affect you at all, or it'll knock you out. i don't think it was any sort of suicide and i don't think it was murder, unless you consider an unscrupulous doctor, one that listens to the patient rather than following sound medical practices is a murderer. i think MJ, a spoiled shell of a man without any type of boundaries, kept demanding more and his highly paid servant/doctor complied with his wishes. he might have had the same dose as the day before, but this time his heart just stopped and there was too much in his system to restart it.
that being said, i couldn't care less that he died. the man was a predator, a sexual offender. no man in his 40s has sleepovers with young boys in his bed, 'innocent' or not. whether or not there was any sex involved, just the very fact that an older man is paying close attention in that manner to young children, screws with the kids' heads for the rest of their lives. there are boys living right now that MJ can't get to now, and that's a great thing. i don't care he had a bad/lost childhood, as an adult you have to make a choice to not hurt the next generation, not to continue the cycle. he was pathetic. as far as i'm concerned the Thriller was a Killer of innocence and i hope he rots in his own hell. the Man in the Mirror was a monster, no matter how many platinum records he received, no matter how many times he Moonwalked his way across the stage, or how many charities his guilty conscience contributed to. no RIP from this abuse survivor.
