Just returned from Charleston yesterday, and what a beautiful city. Really cool stuff. Expensive, but it was a lot of fun.

Did I see any cars? uh .. yyyaa. but, i wasn't able to take pictures of all of them, because most of the time they were moving in the other direction. But i just happened to see a few that were parked and i did have my camera ready. Check it out ..

Never seen a quattroporte, so that was pretty cool. Very nice and simple car. The Viper was .. well, it's a Viper. It has an incredible presence. 2009 SRT-10, and this guy has already accumulated nearly 30,000 miles. He said him and his wife go everywhere in it when it comes to touring the south (older couple). And why not?!? enjoy it .. just a car.

Good trip overall. If you ever go to Charleston, do the Carriage tour, DO NOT go to Fort Sumter, be sure to check out the USS Yorktown, and adventure over to Shem's Creek were you will find RB's for some truly incredible see food. Was really amazing. And if you keep an eye out, a pod of dolphins may even appear while you waiting for you table to be called (it was so cool to see wild dolphins, let me tell ya)

nice man. Dodge's finest product. If only Dodge put as much thought into their other cars as they do into the Viper.

Or if the Viper team took over at Dodge. From what I understand, they are quite separate in terms of what they are building. There is a whole separate crew/co. devoted to the Viper.

But yes I agree. The Viper may not be the most sophisticated super car out there, but that's what makes it a Viper. You don't buy it for the handling or grip or comfort. You buy if because it's a Viper and delivers one hell of a punch. Great car, and is in a class of only a few.

not only that, they built it fairly tough, especially what kind of stress the whole car under goes.

Well, I don't know about the new one's, but the older Viper's aren't the most reliable. My dad's friend has a '97 GTS that I've spoken of before. It's in the shop 2 or 3 times a year. They don't do any hard driving with it, but they do drive it. About 5K - 10K miles per year. It actually just had the front bake calipers replaced because one of them was sticking :/.

But overall, the Viper is very solid. I haven't spoken to anyone who's driven them hard before, but I haven't heard anything bad at all about the new models.

I remember in a comparo with a lambo and a viper, the lambo broke. Not saying the lambo is unreliable, just I think you can beat on a viper a lot more and not have it break like some other cars.
