All the Range needs is a capable interior with some options, higher quality suspension, and perhaps another facelift.

That would be a smart move by ford if they keep the ranger around for a while. If it is the second best selling midsized it is doing something right and there is no need to kill it off needlessly

On another note: Why the FUCK are side impact air bags required?
Make them a pricey option and let the buyer decide whether or not he needs them, cars are too damn expensive.

They're required because they're proven to decreas injury levels in a side impact. The Ranger needs to go away. Sales are slumping month by month. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw a new Ranger on the road. It's been months. One of our dealers still has 2007's on the lot.

Our dealers around here can't keep them on the lots. That's what a lot of effy buyers have gone too. They perform great, and last forever.

Well being around more people that buy small midsize trucks then anyone on here, i would say a smart move for ford would be to bring the 4 door ranger here, along with a more powerful 4.0...

I think a 3 valve 4.6 would be a great addition, too.....
No such thing as too much power in a little pickup ::B^>::
