The buzz surrounding the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe doesn't seem to be waning. We gave you video B-roll, a paper cut-out, and New York Auto Show coverage. Now, we are bringing you unofficial "photochopped" coverage as enthusiasts take the press images and have some fun customizing them. Take a look at the four nicely done images in the gallery (flat black with light window tint really looks stealth!), and see if you can come up with your own version to add to the mix (we'll upload the stand-outs to our gallery). Realizing the 2.0-liter turbocharged four is begging for mods, what else are you planning to do to your Genesis? Engine tuning, suspension, electronics? We're betting the aftermarket is gearing up already for this all-new rear-wheel-drive coupe. Thanks for the tip, Dave! Gallery: Hyundai Genesis Photochopped [Source: 4G63HP]
not much of a Hyundai fan, but I have to admit this looks promising. I'm expecting it to be a bit on the hefty side, but hopefully the suspension and handling comes out well developed.
Well I'm just hoping it'll have stats similar to 240s, aftermarket will fix those things just like 240s/Silvias did.
Judging from the overall size of the car, I'd figure it to be treated similar to the last-gen Supra, especially with estimated power output figures to be within range of the Mustang GT.
I would be weary of the rumors that they will put in the V8 in the tiburon, I haven't seen any confirmation that they will. I'm seeing max HP output to be around 250hp for the top model. Was there a confirmation that they are going to use the V8 in the tiburon? If so link please =D
no, they said they'd use a turbo 4 and 6 for the engines. the 4 should have around 200 and the 6 should have around 300. the Tau makes over 350 i believe.
I don't have enough trust in Hyundai that they will bring a 300hp V6 RWD coupe. I'm just happy that they said they'll bring a RWD couope period. If they can deliver on what they say they will, then it'll mean lots of sales for them =)
Well, Ford claims 340hp out of their Ecoboost. I hope they can bring out those numbers. If their new engine trend is the same as it has been recently it will have 350-360hp.
i think a Mustang RR model or something would be cool. have the lighter weight EcoBoost with 350hp, IRS, some lighter body panels, stiffer suspension, etc. basically make a roadcourse monster. i'd trade up for damn sure.
yea, but if no one buys it at first then the dealer has to lower it. I think it was absolutely ludacris when dealers were asking for 32K for a Civic Si Coupe with leather and a nav....
