Why don't people in a tight community like this use their first names when they post? I know we all have screen names but most are monikers that many hide behind.

I don't know about you guys but I feel as though I own what I write if I use my real name. I would propose that you keep your screen name and simply sign your posts.

well my first real name is Ali, but no one really calls me that, lol. I've always gone by AJ since I was kid because my parents would call me Ali John (in Faris John is a sign of endearment) and some would say Ali John is too long, just call him AJ.

AJ is fine. If that's what people call you then that satisfies "ownership" of your posts.

I sure am glad it ain't my name, I didn't even know there was such a name until recently! The kinds of names you find in our countryside...like Bienvenido (which means "welcome") or Atanasio, to mention the less odd ones.

Pronounce the "e" like in Benz or wrench, the "u" like the "o" in wooooooooo and the "i" as the sound of the "e" in eat.
