Ok, seriously now. Why is it that auto mags have no clue what they are reviewing? And hearing it from their mouth just makes them sound like complete retards. "Three hundred seventy five thousand dollars? For a Lexus?" The "auto enthusiasts" at Motor Trend don't like the price so they compare it to a car that cost a fraction of it. The Nissan GT-R, because that makes complete sense... not! Lexus is a relatively newly established Luxury brand under Toyota (which everyone knows) and put forth a task to build a real Super Car. And what do car mags do? Compare it to cars that don't make much sense. The only reason they can compare it to a GT-R is because they're both Japanese and the GT-R also blazing fast around a track. But so what? A ZR-1 or Viper ACR is faster than most Exotics, does it make sense to compare it to a Veyron? They have completely missed the point with this car. You may be asking "well, what do you compare it to?" Oh I don't know, maybe something that has the same amount of thought, spirit, style, exclusiveness? What is that exactly? A Ferrari 599 GTB. Yes a Ferrari, oh my did I just compare a Japanese car to an Italian car? Am I crazy? Let me present to you the similarities and then you can see.

Closest thing we'll get to a new NSX for now. I've been a bit out of the loop in keeping up with these new events, but looks like Honda wants to be more competitive in Super GT racing so they're doing development on this NSX so that teams can run a newly developed car from Honda. Damn this thing looks beastly. At first when Japan looked like it was going to stop with super cars, but then we saw LF-A come back to life and now this NSX? I'm sure plenty of car guys will eat this up. It has a striking resemblance to the old 2003 Honda HSC concept.
